The Culverhay Surgery

We are a group practice providing traditional family medicine to a high standard in our own purpose-built surgery. Our website has been designed to provide clear and concise help and give our patients the information they require in an easy and convenient format. It has been built with the patient’s needs at the forefront of everything, from checking surgery times to letting us know what you think of us. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or booking an appointment.

The Culverhay Surgery CQC Inspection Results 23rd August 2018

The Care Quality Commission (CQC), which is an independent regulator of health and adult social care in England, has completed its inspection of the Culverhay Surgery. These inspections are used to make sure that health services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate and high-quality care. We are delighted that our most recent CQC report has graded us as Good overall, and Outstanding for the care of Older People. We look forward to welcoming CQC back in the future to demonstrate our continued compliance.

Berkeley Vale Improved Access

Providing Healthcare for the Berkeley Vale Area

The GP Surgeries of the Berkeley Vale area are participating in a project to improve patient access to primary care services for the residents of Berkeley Vale and surrounding areas. Extra GP clinics will be held during normal hours and additional appointments will also be available between 6.30pm and 8.00pm every weekday evening and on Saturday mornings. Patients registered with any of the participating Surgeries within the BV Area will be able to make an appointment at these extra clinics. This project involves 6 Practices in the Berkeley Vale area working together for the benefit of their patients. The project will be closely monitored to assess how it is performing and whether we, as a primary care community, are delivering the best care required to fulfill the healthcare needs of the BV Area.
