The Culverhay Surgery
We are a group practice providing traditional family medicine to a high standard in our own purpose-built surgery. Our website has been designed to provide clear and concise help and give our patients the information they require in an easy and convenient format. It has been built with the patient’s needs at the forefront of everything, from checking surgery times to letting us know what you think of us. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or booking an appointment.

Vacancy for Hon. Secretary Officer
Following our recent Annual General Meeting when we were not able to fill the Hon. Secretary Officer post, it was felt we should advertise for new members and in particular try to attract someone who might be willing to take on this role. Support will be given to any potential candidate who feels this rewarding role might be just what they are looking for.
If you are interested please complete a membership form by clicking on the link above and stating your interest on the form. If you would like to speak to the previous Hon. Secretary please let the surgery know and we can arrange for you to make contact. The role involves preparing the agenda for the monthly meetings, taking minutes and circulating to members. There are other small administrative tasks, for example making sure confidentiality agreements are signed by all members. There is the potential to grow this role, and opportunities to develop your knowledge and expertise about how services work by representing the CSPPG at the larger locality PPG meetings.

Berkeley Vale Improved Access
Providing Healthcare for the Berkeley Vale Area
The GP Surgeries of the Berkeley Vale area are participating in a project to improve patient access to primary care services for the residents of Berkeley Vale and surrounding areas. Extra GP clinics will be held during normal hours and additional appointments will also be available between 6.30pm and 8.00pm every weekday evening and on Saturday mornings. Patients registered with any of the participating Surgeries within the BV Area will be able to make an appointment at these extra clinics. This project involves 6 Practices in the Berkeley Vale area working together for the benefit of their patients. The project will be closely monitored to assess how it is performing and whether we, as a primary care community, are delivering the best care required to fulfill the healthcare needs of the BV Area.
