The accessible information standard aims to make sure that disabled people have access to information that they can understand, and any communication support they might need. This makes sure that people get information in different formats if they need it, such as large print, braille, easy read or via email.
As a practice we would like to identify patients who have an information or communication need, and find out how we can meet those needs. Please let us know if you, or someone you care for has such a need.
More information on the accessible information standard can be found on the NHS England website.
