Patient Participation Group

Your voice. Your Community. Your practice.

Our Patient Participation Group (PPG) brings together patients who want to help shape the way Culverhay Surgery delivers care. It’s a simple but powerful idea: when patients and the practice work together, services improve for everyone.
You don’t need any special experience to get involved, just an interest in helping us understand what matters most to you and our wider community.

What does the PPG do?

The Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a collection of patients registered at Culverhay Surgery who have an interest in our provided services. The aim of the PPG is to represent patients’ views and cross barriers, embrace diversity and work in partnership with the practice to improve common understanding.

The PPG:

  • Represents the views, needs and experiences of our patients
  • Works in partnership with the practice to improve services
  • Helps us understand barriers to care and supports inclusive decision‑making
  • Acts as a “sounding board” for new ideas and changes
  • Encourages communication between patients and the practice team

Our goal is to ensure every patient has a voice – across ages, backgrounds, cultures and life experiences.
